Escrow Assistant or Escrow Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

SNELLING, on behalf of an established and reputable title company, is seeking an Escrow Assistant or Escrow Officer to join its professional team in Tyler, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where accuracy, client service, and integrity are valued.  As an Escrow Assistant or Escrow Officer, you will manage real estate transactions from contract to closing, ensuring a smooth and compliant process for all parties involved. You’ll work closely with lenders, real estate professionals, and clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

This means that while SNELLING will coordinate the recruitment process, a position with the client would start directly on the payroll of our client.
  
Key Responsibilities of the Escrow Officer:

  • Oversee all aspects of the title and escrow process from opening to funding.
  • Review contracts, prepare settlement statements, and ensure all requirements are met for closing.
  • Conduct closing appointments with professionalism and clear communication.
  • Manage file documentation, disbursements, and post-closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to resolve title issues promptly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain long-term client relationships.

  
Qualifications of the Escrow Officer:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience handling real estate closings.
  • Current Texas Escrow Officer license (or in process).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with title software preferred with the willingness to learn new systems as necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
