JOB DESCRIPTION

SNELLING is actively seeking a detail-oriented Tax Associate to join a local CPA firm. The ideal candidate will have prior experience preparing both corporate and personal tax returns within a CPA firm setting. This position offers flexibility with options for remote, hybrid, or in-office work.
This Tax Associate position will be a direct hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process.  If a job offer is made, employment would be directly with our client and all benefits available to full-time employees would be available upon hiring.

Tax Associate – JOB DUTIES

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Assist clients with tax planning and compliance.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary tax documentation.
  • Research and analyze tax issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior tax professionals and management on complex tax matters.
  • Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations to minimize client liability.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to remain current on tax codes & procedures.

Tax Associate  – QUALIFICATIONS                                                                       

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Previous experience in corporate and individual tax preparation at a CPA firm.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tax projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
