Receptionist

JOB DESCRIPTION

SNELLING is currently seeking a Receptionist for a client in the Tyler area. This Receptionist position interacts heavily with the general public primarily by phone, but also in a face-to-face and email format.  The Receptionist will greet visitors and callers professionally, inquiring into the nature of their call or visit so as to be able to accurately assist them.  The starting pay rate for this position will be around $15-16 / HR, but could be more based on experience.

This Receptionist position will be temp-to-hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.

QUALIFICATIONS                                                                             

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant / receptionist position preferred
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, even to patrons who can be frustrated
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Skill and knowledge in the use of computers for word processing, email, scheduling appointments and other general clerical tasks
  • The ability to adapt to and perform a variety of tasks independent of direct supervision
