SNELLING is currently seeking an experienced, Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join an established insurance agency in their Tyler office.  To be considered for this position, the candidate must have a P&C insurance license and recent experience in a similar role. Because of the amount of referrals received by this agency, cold calling is not required.  The primary job duties involve reaching out to warm leads or existing clients regarding referrals.  A life and health license is preferred as well but not required.  This position will have a base salary between $50K-$60K annually plus an opportunity for quarterly bonuses.  Base salary will depend on experience.  Benefits offered include insurance coverage, PTO, paid holidays and 401K with company match.  This position requires in-office work in Tyler, TX.
This Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent position would be either a temp-to-hire or direct hire with the employer, depending on the experience of the candidate and their current employment status.  In either process, SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process with the goal being long term employment with our client.   
The ideal candidate for this Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent position would meet the following criteria:

• Prior personal lines agent experience with an insurance agency
• P&C insurance license (Texas)
• Computer proficiency with MS Office programs and the ability/willingness to learn additional propriety software products that are specific to the insurance industry
• Ability to work cohesively in a small office setting
• Desire to serve clients in a positive, professional manner
• Ability to present existing and prospective clients with individualized policy options
• Ability to effectively educate clients regarding policy options and communicate any policy changed to existing clients
