SNELLING is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our fast-paced business in Tyler. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing more than one set of books and comfortable handling a wide range of accounting functions.  The Bookkeeper will work closely with the company owners to keep a good handle on business affairs and support several growing businesses.
  
This Bookkeeper position will be temp-to-hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.  Pay will depend on experience and be in the range of $18 to 23/hour. 
  
Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bookkeeping for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Process Payroll for employees
• Track and reconcile inventory records
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Maintain organized records and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Communicate effectively with management to clarify information and resolve discrepancies

  
Qualifications:

• Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably with multiple accounts
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (required)
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Inventory Tracking
• Additional skills in journal entries and financial statement preparation a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with a willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
