Bilingual Teller

JOB DESCRIPTION

SNELLING is currently seeking two Bilingual Tellers for a local financial services company in Tyler. Both positions are temp-to-hire.  One is full-time, Monday through Friday while the other is part-time, approximately 20 hours a week as needed.  No Saturday hours are required!  Qualified candidates must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and comfortable completing transactions with accuracy and a high level of customer service.  While teller experience at a bank is not required, cash handling, prior customer service experience and accurate data entry is mandatory. The pay rate for this position is $15/HR.
 
The major areas of responsibility of the Bilingual Teller include:

  • Provide friendly and prompt customer service to patrons
  • Receive and process financial transactions
  • Answer questions about products and services
  • Problem solving
  • Provide routine information
  • Balance cash drawer and daily transactions

  
Qualifications to be considered for the Bilingual Teller position include:

  • Must have accurate 10-key and keyboard skills
  • Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
  • Previous teller experience preferred, but not required
  • Cash handling and customer service experience is required
  • Full time role requires the ability to work 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday & 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays
