Commercial Carpenter


SNELLING is currently seeking candidates for Commercial Carpenter positions. The pay rate for this position is $15-20/hr. Schedule is Monday-Friday and some Saturdays.

This Commercial Carpenter position will be temp-to-hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted. The value you receive in working with SNELLING is that we consult with you to help highlight your qualifications that are going to be most valued by the client.

The ideal candidate for a Commercial Carpenter will have at least 2 years of commercial carpentry experience and own basic carpentry hand tools.


  • Must have valid driver’s license and meet background check requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand all aspects of plans and specifications.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures for location.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team.
  • Must maintain communication with on-site supervisor.
  • Must be responsible and have a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, including lifting 100 pounds as well as the ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.
  • Must own basic carpentry hand tools.
  • Ability to use carpentry power tools, i.e. skill saw, cordless drill and impact, etc.
